We began the semester by going to Washington Square Park to make quick sketches of the following topics: People interacting, kids playing and animals being animals.
In the following class, we chose one of the pencil drawings to transform it into a wire drawing.
I chose a sketch that I did of a little girl in a dress. It’s done in very few lines because the girl was moving but it captured her essence even though it doesn’t have a lot of details.
