- Water Stations: these stations across the border with Mexico help prevent deaths by dehydration of people crossing the desert. I found this very inspiring and a very creative way to help people. It’s resourceful and addresses a specific problem in an inexpensive way. This design, that prevents people from dying is a very meaningful and altruistic way of helping others.
- Farm Hack Tools: It’s really innovative to take technologies like this to farm areas. I like that it contributes to the people living there as well as the planet and it helps to solve more than one problem at the same time.
- Junk art panels: I love how they used trash to create the art for the stage of the musical. It helps the environment by reusing objects that would be otherwise thrown away and it was a beautiful way of creating the props for the musical.
- Community park: I really liked how they took the idea of the space from what they had done on a previous project and instead of just placing it in the Coachella Valley they addressed the problems of that community and adapted the design to really make a change in the area.
