Bench 1, Experience + Meaning

This is my first sketch of my object. I was given about 2 minutes to sketch the bench, but I didn’t have to look back up from my paper much because of the image I had of it in my head. I live in Brooklyn and basically grew up in NYC so I’ve seen this bench thousands of times, sat on it hundreds.
