Last week, working in a group with Kolt and Antoine, my project was able to

Through working with Kolt and toine, my project got a huge push. Luckily, my two classmates are serious and critical thinkers; one an architect and one a product designer. After they presented their own inventions, I had gained a lot of trust and respect for them, while both of their thinking and designing styles are creative and progressive. They advised that i take my zeolite-coated canvas walls, to a zeolite infused half-wall, or flooring, as the chemical is not limited to liquid forms. I’m glad I had spoken to Kolt and Antoine, because I was stuck on the combination of zeolite and fabric, only because that was the way I first envisioned the mechanics of the tent. We spoke about the zeolite mineral, brainstorming other ideas of its usage in my project. I also think that the mechanics of their own projects helped them to think of way my structure can work. FOr example, Antoine’s project is an architectural design of a home dealing with water and heat conservation, while including a maximum amount of glass.

The two of them allowed me to break the boundaries of my own thinking of my particular project, and the boundaries of my own creative mind.

Lesson learned: Always get a second opinion!
