This project instructs us to take a shot of our imaginary and real journeys according to the script we wrote on the Integrative Seminar class.

-Explanation-
My video is mainly introducing my way to the grand central station on which I encountered troubles, warmth but basically I was inspired by a moving scene of a street artist performing in the subway train. He started with “you guys can feel free to ignore me. I’m nobody” but his art brings me to a thought that such a man still has his dream inside no matter how subtle how ignorant he is. He devoted himself in performing, and always had a big smile after finishing one movement. I couldn’t help thinking are people walking on the street have larger dreams than him? Are they even have dream or belief in what they are doing? That is the reason why I made this video and the two differentiated parts are a man has no dream ,inspired by one scene and another point of view from a boy to judge the world (with dream, colorful; without, black and white)
-Reflection-
It took me so long to figure out how to use Pr to split the screen for 2 videos playing simultaneously. I also added a few freestyle parts at the end, some of them are interesting sidelights, some of them are videos I shot before. I think they are somehow related to the theme of this video I shot–to have dream means to have soul–and that is the final draft I made with 2 times trips to the grand central station because I really enjoy having this kind of experience or project.
