I am from China and that is my second time in town. My city is in the southern part of China and near Shanghai and I spent my 3 years on high school education in Shanghai, finishing my IB diploma.
Last trip in New York was 2 years ago for summer school in Pratt. I am quite a fan of designing and redesigning daily used things and I am a great fan of shoes, therefore I chose Product Design as my major. Besides, I won a national patent for creating a no-water-dropping umbrella which is in my application portfolio and I am quite a fan of multi-media artwork thus I make sculptures, 3D art craft, sketch, water color, photographs and so on.
The first three images are about my national patent, basically I designed a exoskeleton for umbrella so that after using, water will not drop. And the rest of the gallery is about my photographs, DIY hexagon industrialization-styled light, daily sketches, water color with sketches and sculpture I made with air clay, with a theme of anarchism.
I wish I can learn basic software utilizing at Parsons, since in such a IT era, software is mighty. Besides, I wish I can transfer to fashion design since I am so passionate about fashion industry and I believe my career after graduation will be getting enrolled to a large company, getting trained and then establish my own company or brand.
