- What was the most challenging part of the project?
The most challenging part was bending the main structure, it was difficult to bend the wire to the exact angle as I planned.
- What was the most enjoyable part of the project?
The most enjoyable part was definitely the photoshoot. It was fun playing with the lights, and see how the final piece turning out in the picture.
- What did you learn about yourself as a maker/ planner?
I learned that I’m not really good at planning things on paper, it works better for me when I experience the materials with hands.
- How is a photograph of the piece different then the sculptural object? Which do you consider the finished piece?
The difference between a wire piece and a sculptural object from a picture is the distribution of space. The wire form and the shadow it creates separates the image into different spaces. I considered it’s finished when I think the space in-between wires are well organized, the lines are in proportion and balanced.
