Week 7-2. Going to concert : Taylor Swift “1989” World Tour

Last Saturday, I went to concert with my friends to Metlife Stadium in New Jersey.

According to a TimeOut editor Andrew Frisciano :

“Here are five 1989 deep cuts to look out for when the country-gone-pop megastar hits Jersey this week.”

 

I could take a express bus to go to Metlife Stadium directly in Port Authority Bus Terminal.

I went to Metlife Stadium for the first time ever, and I really shocked it is really huge.

 

And there was a policy that any beverage from outside is not allowed.

 

Concert started at 7PM and finished almost 12AM.

This was “Welcome to New York” which was first song of this concert, and I felt a little bit weird because she was singing this song in “New Jersey.”

Also, as a special guest, Nick Jonas came out to stage and sang “Jealous” with Taylor Swift.

This was the last song of this concert “Shake it off” which is her title song in her album.

 

Overall, I realized she is really popular now because there were 60,000 people in the stadium just that day.

I also recognized that many of fans were teenage girls because there were a lot of teenage girls.

In addition, I felt that she is really good at making hooks. She talked a lot among songs finish and start.

When she introduce songs, she made a whole story of her name of songs and connected them.

For example, when she introduce her song “Clean”, She said “Even though we are undergoing rainstorm, we will be cleaned.”
