Last Friday, I went to Central Park reservior to take a boat with my classmates Susan and Sunny.
From Time Out blurb said:
RUN AROUND CENTRAL PARK’S RESERVOIR-OR BE LAZY AND RENT A BOAT
We know. Central Park is overrun by tourists. But it’s also pretty freakin’ amazing. Joggers who don’t want to spend hours running not the spot at DON’T WALK lights know to hit the cinder pathway loop around the mid-Central Park reservoir for both its clear running lanes and terrific views along the edge of the park. Meanwhile, the rest of us know we can spend an afternoon padding around the lake a few block south of the reservoir on a calming. romantic rowboat ride. It’s easier than jogging, especially for the rowee.
This is my mind-map before we go to Central Park.
And We met in front of Apple Store which located in 58th Street and 5th Ave, and headed to Central Park Bethesda Fountain.
Google maps said it is “iconic Central Park spot on the lake.”
Near in the fountain, there is a place for taking a boat.
The cost was $15 per boat for first hour + $20 deposit per boat. The total was $35 for an hour.
After we paid for a boat, we went in.
There were many people to enjoy the view of Central Park.
We also enjoyed the view of Central Park and a sunny day with blowing wind.
Especially, peddling boat was a really unforgettable experience for me!!
Also, the view of Manhattan was really incredible and nice.
After we spent really funny one hour on the boat, and came to cafeteria which located in next to the boating. We ate cheese hamburger, french fries and soda.
I didn’t know there is really nice place in Central Park before I saw Time Out. This experience made me learn how to spend time funny in this city. Also, I think a lot of my friends don’t know this, so I want to share my experience and recommend to go there.
