Description of the project:
For this project, we had to create a book of a series of analog or printed-out images to illustrate a concept about time. I chose to do the prompts “There is no time,” and “Everything is in motion”.
Process:
For my process, I wanted to create the compositions of the images as I took them. I went out and captured photos of my friend, Camryn. I edited the photos to represent the difference in how time was moving. I then put the book together with leather, thread, various papers, and glue. I printed out small phrases of text to accompany the photos.
Reflection:
I enjoyed the creation of this project, it brought me to experiment with new materials and ways of creating. I enjoyed the narrative behind the book, and I executed the book how I had planned it.
