Assignment #4 – Making as Thinking as Asking

For this assignment, we were asked to select an object, form, image or event and “ask questions.” At first, I had trouble with choosing an object. The more I thought of the space in my dorm, I’ve noticed the messy cabinet that stored all out plates and bowls. I decided to re-organize the cabinet in different ways that would satisfy everyone in my suite. As a short person, it is hard to reach for things that are two heads taller, that is why I chose to move my items to the middle and bottom level of the storage. In this way, I see the different forms that we maximize our small space and how it can change the way we do things in the kitchen.

This assignment allowed me to reflect on the various ways of asking questions. Although this drawing may seem confusing, it triggered my brain from turning visualization to words.
