I used this as an opportunity to explore different materials and means of printmaking. I mixed water color, acrylic, and collage. Some were more successful than others, but in each one I tried to come up with new techniques of printing. One that I like was where I created a texture with acrylic paint and after it hardened I used it as a stamp on other cards. I also liked the outcome of printing over watercolor, and watercoloring over prints. In a couple I used tape and painted over, then peeled off the tape and this reminded me of the print method we did in class.
For my final project I hope to incorporate printmaking, and possibly collage. So, this was a very fun way to explore different ways of doing that while creating collage materials to reuse for the project.
