Through this process I noticed a pattern that I drew many quick interactions between strangers, and random acts of kindness. I also found myself drawing scenes or maps from my own memories. A pattern that I think relates to my overall interests was that many drawings were observing different dynamics of community life, such as on the subway or in the park. I don’t think many of my drawings directly relate to the small research project for objects at the MET, but I think they could relate to the final one. I’m interested in researching design for community engagement or maybe art for social/ transformative justice. So, continuing these drawings and observing different aspects of community can help with my research.
