Assignment #3: Drawing contour line with 3D materials
After completing a self-portrait line drawings in my space and materiality class our new assignment was to manipulate three different materials to create a 3D drawing of our original portrait. Through the use of string, cardboard and annealed wire I created three different types of 3D portraits. Throughout this assignment I was able to use my understanding of the seven elements of design that we went over in class and test my ability of applying it to 3D design. Below are my 3D pieces.
