Assignment #10:Wooden Necklace
Making the wooden necklace was a new experience. I was able to work with wire even more but now I was also able to work with wood as well. After I had my design I transferred the shapes onto the wood and for the first time used the wood shop. I enjoyed working with the sanding machines and the the bandsaws. I felt like they made my work a lot easier and were helpful in cutting straight lines compared to something I’d have to do if I had to do it by hand. I had a fun time doing this assignment and now I feel more comfortable in moving onto a bigger project.
