Drawing/Imaging:Language
Marks, Pattern & Color
The purpose of studying marks, patterns and colors is because these are the basic breakdowns of an image. If you look at an picture/drawing you’d see that it is made up of marks that make up patterns that make up the whole image. Color in it’s own is a different subject because it can change the way the image looks as a whole in hue, value, and saturation. I found these assignments and projects very interactive and liked the fact that we got to workout only with illustrator (digital) but with hands-on materials such as ink, charcoal, pencil, etc.
