Crumpled Paper:
Creative Process:
I have learned about my creative process throughout this project because I have gained a better understanding of line, shape, form, and other aspects of design. I learned the difference and importance in using dominant lines, subdominant lines, and subordinate lines. Using the different sized lines incertain areas changed the design of my accessory. In addition, I understand how to use more 3D materials and learned quickly how to build successfully.
Strengths/ Weaknesses:
I believe my weaknesses in this project were the physical building of the final accessory using metal tubes and wire, because the wire was thick and is very visible. Also, getting my accessory to fit my body and stay on was difficult. I felt that my strengths were drawing the original accessory on the model and I had the right idea for my final design, it was just difficult to execute.
Developing Skills:
I definitely have more skills working with line and 3D materials due to this project. It got easier as the project progressed and I understood the 3D figure and how to imitate 2D drawn lines in a 3D form. I used problem solving skills by inserting straw into the metal tubing to make the structure work more successfully.
