Sam McKinniss, a painter in Brooklyn created the cover art of Lorde’s album Melodrama in 2017. The lighting within the painting was incredible and captures everything the album speaks about in the music and the lyrics. I am always interested in album cover art and whether or not it complements the music, which it does in this case.
