My artifact reflect my memory from my great aunt’s house in Valencina. The object from the past is my great aunt’s pocket watch that she gave to me, and my object from the present is a red mason jar from a thrift shop. The watch represents the time I spent there and the time is wrong on the clock which shows how the reflection of my memory could be fake. I used real candle wax and also fake candles to display the real versus fake and they reflected my great aunt’s use of candles throughout her house. I put an image of the Spanish tile inside the jar and it was illuminated by the candles inside. Overall, I believe I successfully reflected my memory and the amount of accuracy I have attached to the memory of that place.
