Logan at the Met

“The face kinda looked like mine.” Logan standing in front of the sculpture

After a long walk through classic paintings, contemporary art, and baroque sculpture, Logan and I paid a visit to the nonwestern section of the Met. When asked what the artwork meant to her, she explained, “It serves as a visual connection to my lost culture to me, and also the face kinda looked like mine. In fact, it even reminds me of these clay masks I made last year!”
