Yves Saint Laurent Memorial

The Integrative Studio 1 Final was to create a memorial for someone who we admired, inspired us, or who touched many lives. Since we didn’t have to actually create the memorial, we were free to dream up the biggest, most extravagant memorial we thought was appropriate.  I chose to create a memorial for Yves Saint Laurent in the garden of his Moroccan home that fused his Moroccan inspired clothing with the actual native features that were referenced in the designs.

Forensic Self-Portrait

For the first project in Integrative Studio 1, we had to create a self-portrait using objects that are special to us. Without strict guidelines on the format, I decided to manipulate my objects in Photoshop and then collage them into a skeleton, taking “forensic” literally.
