I created a candy bag titled “I Want Candy! Candy Bag.” In Space Materiality class we were assigned a food container project. We were allowed to make any type of food container that we wanted with whatever materials we wanted. I decided that I wanted to sew a candy bag. The difficult part about creating my candy bag was the material I chose. I wanted to make sure that someone passing a person holding this bag would be able to see the delicious candy inside. I used clear vinyl to create the structure of the bag and a neon pink dot vinyl to create the sugary sweet bow. The candy I chose was deliberate. I wanted to choose very colorful candy to show how fun this product could be.
