I made my first subtraction cut dress in my Creative Tech class. I used a circle as my template for subtracting parts from the dress. I attempted to do a rough estimate of my measurements for the circle. I enjoyed the subtraction cut dress because it was a fast way to have a wonderfully draped dress. I was pleased that my dress was shorter which was what I was aiming for. However, I was not entirely inspired by the way it looked. I really enjoyed moving the garment around and taking pictures of details I liked. I also enjoyed sketching from the bits and pieces of the garment that I liked.
