I created the Guardians of the Galaxy collection as my final project in Design Studio class. I love fantasy, science fiction, and the like. I’m also really interested in Costume Design so I found a video on the costume design work that went into the Guardians of the Galaxy movie and was inspired. I decided to do a Guardians of the Galaxy space themed collection.
I started off by pin pointing what inspired me from the movie and created a mood board. I then started to do magazine collages that went with the feeling of my mood board. I later did fabric manipulations and drapes and collaged them on Photoshop with the magazine collages to come put with an entirely new look.
