Above is the finished product of my lantern and the process pictures.
I made this lantern in my Space Materiality class. The assignment was to make some sort of light fixture. I decided that I wanted to make a lantern that had cut outs within the lantern. I used sheet metal for the top, bottom, and the supporting strips of metal.
