My name is Mia Rubin and I attend undergraduate school at Parsons The New School for Design. I am studying Fashion Design and Creative Entrepreneurship and will graduate with the class of 2017. In January of 2014, I interned with Shoptiques.com and assisted the Shoptiques by running their photo shoots and maintaining their online presence. I hope to one day be working as a fashion designer in New York City.

I approach design in a very personal way. I create art that represents the way I feel about my past, present, and future. I love to create collages; take photographs; write and illustrate graphic novels; and film. My major is fashion design because I believe that  I am able to express through clothing design my emotions and inspirations that I am unable to in other media.
