Trojan Horse Self-Portrait: initial studies

 

Below are photographs of my initial sketchbook studies exploring the different possible materials, which I could use for the creation of my Trojan Horse Self-Portrait (varying from concrete and plaster to American Gauge Wire and metal), as well as the concepts behind this creative portrayal.

 

 

 

I like to think critically about art’s role in today’s society: the way it is used for communicating experience, issues and how it stimulates personal interaction and imagination.
