I reached out to 3 organizations so far. I’ve reached out to 1Million Tree Project, Lowline Project and now I’ve decided to try my luck with Greenspace Project. I haven’t gotten a response from 1Million Tree Project or the Lowline Project so I’ve decided to move onto Greenspace Project. The Greenspace project is a community of people that come together to host and attend classes that teach others in how to become more sustainable. Greenspace is a non-profit organization that allow people to develop their skills as a sustainable artist. I haven’t heard back from Greenspace yet but they’ve had past workshops and events taken place at Parsons School of Design so I’m still hopeful.
Some ideas while researching Greenspace:
-Creating an app that shows when and where events/classes are taken place
-Creating a bigger space for students and learners to come. (Designing a garden, “campus” area)
-Painting a mural for one of the buildings
-Creating a green house/classroom
