Archive Visit

During my visit to the archive and Sugar Hill, I read about the importance of the space during the Harlem Renaissance. I read about the culture and the glorious times of Sugar Hill. While I was there, I was looking for different influential people who played a part of what was so appealing about the area. When I visited the space of Sugar Hill, the buildings still maintained it’s beauty. It was a shame that people did look up and admire the victorian style houses that had stain glass and castle like features. I didn’t encounter many problems during my trip but I was put off by how many people stared at me for admiring the buildings.
