Drawing and Imaging: Landscape Collage

For our collage project we used our figure drawings (both tonal and line) combined with textures from our mark-making projects, where we had created fields of marks using different materials and techniques. We added cut paper and rubbings to create a collage that showed 3-dimensional depth and some sort of perspective. I scanned my mark making projects into Photoshop and enlarged the images to have more space to work with. Then I printed them out and did the same with my figure drawings.

I decided that I wanted to use my mark making projects for the majority of my collage. With the different papers, drawings and marks, I created a composition of a woman in a hot tub by a cabin in the mountains.
