For the sculptural iteration portion of the object repetition project, my team attempted to utilize spatial maneuvers that could build off of the flatness of an image to sculpt a 3 dimensional  object. We used the practice of topography as a way to elevate the image into a sculptural environment, elaborating hight, form, shape, depth.  Hysterically, the pedestal has been used as a tool to assert and maintain the objectivity of a sculpture. We used a cardboard box in the same way to give our sculpture as certain presence in space while also offering more surfaces to introduce images. Lastly, we wanted to find ways to make images objects (sculptures). One way we did this was by turning images of pipes into actual pipes or earnings.
