“Party Girl” is a short video that combines a performative object for studio class with the monologue from the seminar. I embroidered words from my monologue on an old, pink sweatshirt. Because my monologue was telling a story of a girl who was very uncomfortable at a party I thought that she would feel protected in a fuzzy, soft, comfortable sweatshirt. It was supposed to serve as a security blanket.
