System: Oral Hygiene

Documenting the process of oral hygiene reminded me how many step are required to accomplish such a simple daily task, as well as how mush repetition is present and how over time these have become automatic. I rearranged the sequence to begin with flossing before brushing. The next rearrangement applied drinking water before commencing the process. The last modification was made by moving drinking water to the middle of the process. It’s interesting to note that none of these changes actually effect the final outcome of feeling fresh and clean but rather the experience of getting there.

First Modification: Floss Before Brushing

Second Modification: Drinking Water Before Starting

Third Modification: Drinking of Water in the Middle
