  1. For final identify collage project, I tried to explore the idea of the gap of identity of before war and after war. The system of the country changed by government of America and we have lost something with the changes. This is mainly concern and what I am looking for in my life, so in other project I also want to incorporate the idea of this project and also in the future work. In the further works, I do not want to lose my character, originality, creativity as a Japanese and parson who is in art school in United States.
  2. In this semester, I learned the basic skills of how to draw human figure and how to use photoshop. I believe that in the school, adobe apps are one of the important skills we have to learn for everything of process for advanced skills, such as laser cutting, 3D printing and Fashion design. Also, the techniques of perspective drawings and drawing human figure are important for learning basic skills for all the advanced drawing in the future. For final work, I used all the techniques of photoshop that I learned in this semester. This impact my works a lot even in other classes too.
  3. My biggest challenge for this class was all the techniques of photoshops and adobe apps. I have never used photoshop before, so it was hard to me to learn photoshop. I tried to learn by myself, but I realized that for the photoshop skills I need to ask someone who used to use this app and mastered it. Then I went to the learning center and asked to the friends who is already good at it. In the final work, I believe I have done what I could do even in the critique, my classmates said that my identity collage was visually stronger than the final work, I like the final photoshop better because I know I tried my best and I learned a lot from the photoshop.
  4. In digital and analog formats, I learned that each media has different mood and effect to the artwork, such as the mark making project. I used many types of dots for make the drawing and influenced to the different materials and textures. I tied to evoke the softness and smoothness of the skin to used small and round shape of dots, for digital formats. I used 2D images and Japanese traditional drawings for make them look similarity and familiar to the Japanese people. Then used 3D images for make the image modern.
  5. As I talked in the other questions, I believe Photoshop is the most important skills for the future and I learned in this semester. Photoshop has a lot of techniques and skills that we can use for making the drawing, photograph, video, and any kinds of artworks. I only learned the basic skills of photoshops, and I think it is very interesting and big chance to use all the devices and apps that have any potentials to make my artworks better. Although I want to do fashion design in the future and before I got in this school, I did not know that these techniques are very important for what I want to do in the future. Therefore, in the future, I want to develop my photoshop skills for make my artwork stronger.
