Project 5 – STAIRS TO NOWHERE

  • 5a: Photo essay of your specific observation(s) of the different stairs along the High Line
  • 5b: Images of your massing model site study
  • 5c: Scan of your equirectangular 360° drawing, along with any other 360° panoramas from our visits to the Vessel that you are proud of
  • 5d: Images of your interpretive physical model study
  • As always, captions and written reflections are absolutely welcome, but not required. Your goal is to create a post about your experience of the Vessel which anyone can view and understand your position. Text may or may not be required to do this, depending on how clear your imagery is!

I learned the stairs portions by side, top and from other angles in the high line field trip.

The study of vessel model. We went to see the actual model of the vessel and took many pictures of the building.

  • 5c: Scan of your equirectangular 360° drawing, along with any other 360° panoramas from our visits to the Vessel that you are proud of?

unfortunately, I did not take 360 photos by using the apps, I thought 360 means the regular Panoramas by iPhone…

I tried to figure out by using Youtube videos and the model by Hetherwick Studio

At first, I tried to use the pink material to make the vessel model, but it did not work well. I could not make it as specific and it took too much time for one floor. and it makes my room so messy

so, I change the material to the copper wires to show overall proportion and the shape of the model.

and I find out by looking at the images that I took and the Youtube videos.
