Initial inspiration photo

This is the initial photo I captured near the Green Which Village at lower Manhattan.

Here’s the instagram account – @x_auaa_x that I choose to post the advertisement.

Since this advertisement was a video beside the screen of the bus stop, it was movable and got a lot of design concepts involve such as repetition, contrast, and so on.

Here’s the link of the whole advertisement itself –

The use of color red, which were the chairs, pops up from the whole advertisement. Red itself, which represented passion, love, and excitement, involved the sexiness of feminity that Chanel was trying to sell to their audience.

The composition of the whole advertisement was having a style of minimalist, clean, and symmetry frame work, which brought out the highly previllage brand of Chanel.

The use of repetition was also involved, which was the dancers, the sound of music, the word “Yes” and also the red chairs that appeared several times in the advertisement. The use of repetition, as a study has shown, creates a pattern, which consequently and naturally grabs our attention at first and then creates the comfort of familiarity.

The whole color concept of the commercial was vibrant, which provides a feeling of radiant and energetic feels that Chanel wants to present to the audience. Colors of cherry blossom, lavender, crimson, and so on was used on the costume of the dancers, which pops up ad the chair does through out the whole commercial.

The last scene, which was the photo I’ve shot, was presented in a clear way which the product itself was centered in the middle. The last scene, was providing a feeling of minimalism as well.
