Biomimicry Design Challenge Sketch

First pinpoint a product or system that you interact with on a daily basis.

Parsons tote bag.

Then ask yourself what kind of tweaks or modifications or changes does it need?

The Parsons tote bag does not have a closure, it would be better more secure if it had one. In addition to that it doesnt have many pockets, instead of making new ones, pockets can be added with velcro.

From there you can study the Biomimicry Taxonomy to locate a natural organism or system to model your sketch off of.

It would be a good idea to add a Velcro closure to the Parsons tote bag. Velcro was invented by George de Mestral in 1941 and was inspired by the burrs he found on himself and on his dog.
