reflections:

I choosed my first garment because I was going to throw it to recyling since it already has hoes on it. I wore it too often for over 2 years. It came from Supreme which I brought online and it was a cotton sweatshirt. I choosed my second garment because I didn’t want to wear it anymore, it was not my style. I brought it from Zara at the beginning of the first semester, I only wore it twice. It was a cotton white shirt. The most time consuming process for me was trying to make the patterns and the sewing process, especially the pinning process. The most enjoying process was to sew the sleeves because I was the first time for me to learn how to sew the sleeves, I appreciated what I learned from the making process. I most satisfied that although I didn’t get enough fabric to make exactly how my second garment looked like but I still managed to make something that looks like it. I was suprised that the sleeves was not that hard to make. I learned that I should not be afraid to learn by myself. This project changed my way of design because I learned that if there is not enough fabric I could combine them together.
