  1. Polyhedral Structures

Our project on polyhedral structures, had two parts. Firstly, we had to create a tetrahedron using either wood, metal or Plexi glass, and hold it together without the use of any type of glue. The second part was to create any sort of abstract polyhedral shape for a wire object we had made as our first space assignment. It could be an encasement for our wire object or an abstract version of it. I made an encasement for my ballet shoe as seen above. It was made out of black plexi glass and copper metal sheets all tied together using different gauged wires.

The picture above explains the process of the project, and how I went about it.

2. Plaster project

This is a step by step detail about my plaster project. We were supposed to make molds inspired by any designer or artist, and their work. I chose Zaha Hadid’s Vortexx Chandelier, and chose to create it in a geometrical manner.
