For my Ambulatory Device I chose to make a children’s toy scooter/car. The project is meant to symbolize my experience during my freshman year at Parsons. I have had a lot more responsibilities since going away for college this year and I learned a lot and grew a lot as a person, although I still feel as though sometimes I wish I could just go back in time to when I was a kid so I wouldn’t have as much stress or responsibilities. I made the device out of wood, screws, and acrylic paint and wheels. It was definitely a learning experience because the first time I made it, it fell apart once I stepped outside of the making center. I then bought longer screws and took more precautions during the building process and it ended up being really secure once I was finished.
