I was inspired by Alexander McQueen’s life experiences. He is such an important artist in my life. He said:”There is beauty in everything”, which is also my belief of art His words and works had inspired a lot of my personal style. He is such a talent designer and artist. I create a video that sent the idea of missing to the audiences.Thinking about what is he going to do if he is rebirth in my body, and how would I perform the Alexander McQueen in a female character. I want to let people to remember him; thinking about him; missing him. He is not only a crazy fashion designer who was died by suicide as most of the people known. I plan to create a memorial to let people to remember the real Alexander McQueen, who is very talented, but depressed sometimes. Therefore, I want to place my piece into a public place like Time Square. I wish my video can not only attract the people who loves him but also someone who does not know him very much. As the same time, I want to show the special bonding between I with him. I was thinking about what is he going to do if he is rebirth in my body, and how would I perform the Alexander McQueen in a female character. In the video, I decorate the top by myself. Some sense was inspired by Alexander McQueen’s works. I placed many different type materials that he usually used in his designs. They all can become elements that connect to Alexander McQueen. I project two of his most famous fashion show on the screen and let the cloth project on top of my black top, then act like I was the one who doing the cat walk. I found this special way to commemorate Alexander McQueen. I believe he will like keep doing fashion if he is still alive. The video took me a long to plan the senses, and gathering the material. Then it took me five hours shooting, and four hours cutting. I was having trouble to decide what I should do for this memorial, because I had so many ideas in my mind when I get this project. At the end, I basically combined my ideas into one video. I think I reached my goal very well. I am so happy to do this memorial for Alexander McQueen
