Sometimes I sit at the piano and make up melodies on a whim, or I begin to doodle in the margins of my notebook and suddenly I am struck by an idea where I can’t stop myself from theorising and thinking of ways to interpret it into my newest artwork. I often find myself fascinated everyday by different ways of portraying my creativity, which is why I usually find myself having a passion for many different things, ranging from music to technological innovations to my drawing and producing art with a story behind it. I know that if I asked my parents or my sister, they’d describe me as someone who’s a very creative person because I have dabbled in nearly every area of art that I can and have gained a large understanding of how to improve my technique and skill in multiple mediums. I tend to give myself high standards to meet these expectations and focus on the details to make sure both my art and hobbies improve all the time, this can somewhat be my downfall at time though as I like to see the best in myself and if I’m not, I can become quite negative. Despite this, I like to to consistently challenge myself by learning new techniques in art and constantly broadening my skills because I really enjoy being able to send a non-verbal story or feeling to an audience where anyone can relate or understand. I’ve been performing piano, presenting artwork and telling stories my entire life so that I can express what I think is important, to tell stories that need to be heard.
