Organic Forms in Watercolor and Illustrator
Alien Fungi Exploration
I love the chubby organic movement of mushrooms, so with this project, I explored different fungi that I found to be alien-like. I saw blue, purple, magenta, and red mushrooms with bubble-like blemishes and hair-like tops. I had a pleasant morning while drawing these one-line shrooms and playing with watercolor. I will be continuing to explore my mediums while illustrating these pure forms!

I then transferred my sketches into Illustrator by tracing the image. There’s something very satisfying looking at these one-line drawings done digitally.
