Inspiration
Personal and others’ experience of eye fatigue, and getting lost in the lines while reading a book.
The eye movement of reading a block of text is similar to eye fixation technique in classical hypnosis induction (which is designed to put you to sleep)
Project objective
Books have stayed in the same form & layout from thousands years ago, yet this norm has rarely been broken or questioned.
Is it really the best way to present texts?
I would like to break away from the traditional layout of a typical text-only book,
and find a solution that puts less strain on the eye.
To explore innovative book design, typeface and layout.
