What does your beauty collection say about your interests as a person and as a designer? Which object in the collection is your favorite, why? Which object in the collection most surprised you by catching your attention, why?
What my beauty collection says about my interests a a person and designer would be having the love of pink and blue tones, as well as things that are reflected or seen due to light. My most favorite object in the collection would be the holographic-gold fabric surrounding the figure, as if it was “embodying” it. I feel that this relates to me in the way I portray myself as a person to certain people, especially towards people I am very close with — being able to express myself around my close friends but also having the feeling of acceptance, love, and understanding around them. I also believe that the gold-holographic fabric also caught me by surprise by catching my attention. I compared to the collaged body that has a smooth surface, the fabric seems more loose and crumply but also very different in color in comparison to the body.
