Hello 🙂

I am Smitha, a designer from Chennai, India, now in New York to pursue an MFA in Design & Technology. Research, curiosity and the constant need to experiment with new media and material, fuel my drive to keep learning. That’s why I’m here!

My undergraduate studies in Visual Arts gave me a strong foundation in art history, drawing and design, after which I worked in advertising for two years. I see the world and my various interests as a jigsaw puzzle and my goal is to work on this puzzle everyday, either through work or play. Fortunately my projects always involve both!

You can usually find me clicking pictures of the random things, admiring the colour green and cracking the un-funniest jokes.
