Created on Adobe Illustrator, this Information Visualisation project focuses on Infographic Development through content hierarchy, color palettes, and information clarity. Comparing and contrasting two similar but different foundations, it is targeted towards beauty lovers and uses icons and elements in its creation. It compares Make Up For Ever’s Ultra HD Foundation to M.A.C.’s Pro Longwear Nourishing Foundation by using quantitative factors such as price, the quantity provided, wear time, and the number of shades, all of which are very important when examining foundations. At the same time, it also compares qualitative factors such as packaging material, coverage, skin type, and texture. Neon colors are used to make the brand names and images pop, white bubbles for improving legibility, and transparency to depict coverage. Finally, scanning the QR code on the bottom left corner with your smartphone leads you to a Google Map which shows locations where both the foundations are available in New York City (as of Spring 2019).
