Self Reflection
I have done many mistakes while I have work on this collection. I have discovered new patterns in order to visualize the differences, conflicts, and misunderstanding between South and North Korea. I have learned a lot form this semester.
This is the first time of making menswear. I realized that I cannot make clothes spontaneously. I used to make conceptual collections and I had tried something new to make my outcome unique. However, spontaneity would not be applied especially on menswear. Men’s clothing seems to be simpler than women’s clothing but it requires precise patterns and exact steps of a process to complete. That was the hardest part and most fascinating part of menswear. I was able to concentrate on the construction part plus the fundamental of clothing design.
