The objective for this assignment was to create a tote bag that reflected observations from around the city with your own personal font. As I walked around Soho I saw this little pink townhouse that I fell in love with. When I was making my bag, I decided to put a picture of the townhouse right in the center of my bag. To enhance the picture I wrote with my personal font called “Swirls” one of my favorite songs “Is This Love” by Bob Marley. I wanted to integrate my favorite color pink which was in the picture to another place on my bag. Therefore, I sewed in a pink leather lining.
