Setting up a second Blog/LP

Did you know you can create multiple blogs and sites?

While it is recommended that you have only one Learning Portfolio (where the template does not change) where you are adding posts from all your classes at Parsons, you are able to create multiple blogs and sites for other purposes.

Here’s how to do that:

  • Sign into the my.newschool.edu portal
  • From the apps locker menu at the upper right, select the Learning Portfolio in the drop down menu
  • In the upper left there are three little houses stacked on top of one another and it says, “My Sites” click here.
  • Click where it says “Add New” inside a blue rectangle
  • Next, follow the instructions and then click image under where it says Parsons ELP Template V2. A block line will outline that image when selected
  • Scroll to the bottom and click where it says “Create Site” in a long black rectangle.
  • Once the site is created you will have a second LP. See the short tutorial below on how to change the template.
